I’ve never been one to use a speedlight, don’t know why, always had one, just never used it much. Studio flashes are a different story but speedlights never seemed to make it into my bag. One of the photogroups I belong to has decided to become a bit of a strobist group, dabbling into speedlights and trying to become more proficient in another discipline of photography. As to not make a fool of myself in front of the group I’ve been honing my skills and purchased a couple of new toys tools to make it easier and more fun. These are some of my first photos from this week and I think things are progressing along nicely. I’m seeing this is going to open itself to a lot of new ideas and opportunities for great photos.
