While outside checking out the damage from the latest frost I found this Monarch Butterfly cocoon. I read that they stay in their cocoon for around 2 weeks, I’ll have to keep my eye out for the rest of the week and see if anything happens. My guess is he’ll emerge while I’m in Denver and I’ll miss the whole thing.
