Yep that’s me standing up there on the arch. It’s the middle of the night and I have an idea in my head.  The idea, well it’s what you see here, me on the arch with star trails behind me. Here it is, just as I had conceived it. While I’m not a full time professional photographer I did major in commercial photography but after school the idea of being a ski bum sounded better. Instead of pursuing a career in photography I have been in the winter sports industry for the past 30 + years.

While I may never have turn pro I’m still an internationally published and award winning photographer that pushes my abilities every time I go out to shoot. Because of my love of photography I have always continued my education and have attended countless seminars on technique and post processing as digital became affordable. I am a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals and teach Photoshop classes locally to groups and individuals. I am a co-organizer of the Gateway Digital Photography Group and started a smaller group that likes to sit around and drink margaritas and talk Photoshop. I pride myself on continually pushing my processing techniques and trying to define a style that is my own.
